Nimia D. Caserez, 40, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Nimia was born November 15, 1967 in El Milagro, Honduras. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Nimia is survived by her daughters, Yadira Banegas (Fabricio Vasquez); Merary Murillo; and Greisy Murillo; mother, Pilar Mejia; sister, Mayra Caserez; brothers, Santiago Caserez, Adalid Caserez, Olman Caserez, Melvin Caserez and Freddy Caserez; grandchildren, Edward Banegas, Brandon Vasquez and Shiloe Murillo; and nieces and nephews, Brian, Josue, Chris, Pilar, Dennis and Eddys.
She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Caserez; and brothers, Nelson and Elmer Caserez.
