Joseph Borland

Joseph A. Borland, Sr., 61, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.
Joseph was born December 17, 1944 in Des Moines. He was a self employed electronic technician. Joseph enjoyed his yard and spending time with his family.
Joseph was a father to three and a dad to four sons that survive him, Joe of Ankeny, John of West Des Moines, Jim (Tamara) of Riverside, IA, Ed (Shawn) Hamilton of Des Moines. He is also survived by his wife, Jean of Mitchellville; father, Boyd (Bev) of Kansas City, MO; brother, David (Tammy) of Florida; sister, Elaine (Jerry) Rogers of Des Moines; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Borland.
