Mia Luciana Vail

Mia Luciana Vail, a daughter given by the Lord to Paul and Trista Vail of Runnells, was born November 13, 2007, and passed away peacefully April 7, 2008. While her stay in her earthly body was brief, her impact on all of us will continue for an eternity.
Mia's favorite activities included blowing raspberries and being held. She was always hungry and didn't like waiting for her formula to get warm. She loved listening to Daddy's voice, Mommy's singing, and her Baby Einstein videos. Big sister and brother were always watching out for her.
Cherished daughter of Paul and Trista Vail. Adored sister of Sydney and Cam. Loved granddaughter of Doug and Sharon Vail, Mervin and Linda (Lucy) Vaughn, all of Runnells. Great granddaughter of Pearl Vail, Jeannette Vignaroli from Des Moines, and Irene Vaughn of Runnells. Darling niece of Kelly Vail of Chicago, Illinois; Kurtis (Daniela) Vail of Oregon, Illinois; Sasha (Justin) Webster of Ankeny; Andie (Kevin) Kreutz of Norwalk; and numerous cousins and relatives.
Mia will be greeted in heaven by great-grandparents, Gunner Vignaroli, Harry Vail, Clyde and Donna Kain, Roy Vaughn, Aunt Lucy and Aunt Nancy.
Angel Mia's family will receive relatives and friends at Ss John & Paul Catholic Church in Altoona, Iowa, Friday, April 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be held Saturday, April 12 at 11:00 am at the same location.
