To the Flannery Family,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle, Denny.
I will miss his sense of humor, the twinkle in his eyes and his picture perfect flower gardens and lawns. No party or wedding reception will be the same without him.
I remember, years ago, Denny started laughing because of some silly thing that had happened and he couldn't stop. He made me start laughing and I couldn't stop. 15 minutes later, we were both still laughing and I had tears rolling down my cheeks because we were laughing so hard and couldn't stop!
I remember when Denny and Toni came to pick up my Mom and I from the airport, in the middle of the night. Denny drove me all the way back to Bondurant, because he didn't want my Mom to drive, at night. She has never forgotten this gesture.
I remember all of the renditions of "Proud Mary" with the Flannery boys.
Denny was a good neighbor and a good friend. Denny was first and foremost a kind and decent human being. We will see him, later.
With deepest sympathy,
Joan Blue
