Linda Reeves

Linda Reeves, 76, passed away November 19, 2017, in Carlisle, Iowa. She was born September 8, 1941, in Illinois to Carroll and Emma Smith.

Linda enjoyed antiques, fishing, camping, traveling, and shopping. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s numerous sporting, cheering, and dancing events.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Michelle Watson and Kimberly (Danny) Fisher; sons, David Reeves and Mark Reeves; her 12 grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, Devin, CheyAnne, Jason, Chad, Charli, Dani, Adam, Alex, Aron, and Kendra; 17 great-grandchildren; her brother, Dennis Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and 2 brothers, Steven and Terry Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with burial to follow at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Grimes. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
