I am one of the people whose life was touched by Chuck and Edith and their faith in Jesus Christ. We were very blessed to have Chuck's organizational skills as we worked together on the Luis Palau Evangelistic Campaign. While I know he had other special verses one I recall was I Corinthians 15:58. Chuck's labor was not in vain.

So sorry to hear of Chuck's passing from this life but know how his faith has carried him through to the anticipation of the life ever after. I worked at Farm Bureau for many years at the same time Chuck was there and although we were not in the same department my office was right around the corner from his and it was an inspiration to know him. I will always remember his exclamation "I FEEL GREAT AND I HOPE YOU DO TO!!" So sorry I will not be in town to attend the service but my thoughts will be with you.

Too the family of Chuck and Edith; I love your dad! He and my dad were great buddies. I have rarely met a more positive and encouraging man than Chuck Underwood. He and your mom have been such a blessing in my life. From the time Holly our daughter went to be with the Lord in 1981 they were there to support and lift us up. Many times while teaching I would ask a question and Church would respond with suck confidence and clarity that you knew this man was unique and had a very special relationship with the Lord. In doing so, he became my teacher. Take courage in this; he has now seen the glory of the Lord that he has been proclaiming all of his life - John 17:24! Knowing this we must be careful not to have selfish sorrow. If we could call him back, he would be as he was. You have never seen him as he is. So, take your memories and walk away and share his story with children, grandchildren and everyone who will listen. All my love, Jim.

Chuck was a pillar of strength to the entire Underwood family and to the many others who encountered him during his life journey. To our family of cousins, he was one of "The Underwood Boys" and his leadership in the family was respected and admired by all. We and many others were blessed by his life and appreciated the remarkable way in which he used technology for his ministry to every life he touched.
