Alma Yvonne Adamovicz, 79, died on Thursday November 16, 2017 at Bridges at Ankeny. She was born October 17, 1938 to James and Estelle Bailey in Des Moines.
Alma was a homemaker and took great pride in raising her children. She enjoyed drawing, reading, gardening, and cooking.
Alma is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Brenda), Douglas (Lisa), Jackie Jr. (Patti), Steven (Jerri), Jamie (Penny), Lisa, Jason, Patrick (Annie) Adomovicz; grandchildren, Laura, Mason, Ashley, Jacob, Morgan, Brayden, Cloey, Thomas, Samantha, Brandon, Joshua, Catherine, Joseph, Jay, Maile, Andrew and Johnny; great grandchildren, Elena and Jayden and a host of other family and beloved friends.
Alma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jackie, and several siblings.
A private burial occurred at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

I give my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Alma Y. Adamovicz. Please take comfort in knowing there is hope for you in this difficult time. Isaiah 26:19 tells us that the dead will live again, and be reunited with their loved ones. Rejoice in the hope of seeing Alma again. May you find peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I loved her, too. I can still hear her calling me Terri Lee. I hope you all can find some comfort in the fact she is no longer in pain and her and your dad are together again. She will be greatly missed.

She was my best friend and I will miss her deeply. Sorry I could not be there or help in anyway but she and Jack are in my daily prayers.
