Rang Baccam

Rang Baccam, 84, was born on April 7, 1933 in Mai Son (Son La Province), Vietnam.

He served in the Royal Guard and Vietnamese Military Police (CSQG) for 20 years, from 1955 until 1975. During his duty, he earned many promotions and awards for his hard work and dedication.

Rang Baccam and his family resettled in the United States in 1991 by the Humanitarian Operation #6 (HO 6). The family consisted of Rang, his mother, his wife, and his children (4 boys and 4 girls).

Rang lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by many friends and family. He was sick for many months until he passed away on November 16, 2017 at 3:45 am in the Taylor House in Des Moines, IA. He is survived by his wife, Thoa Mao, 8 children, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
