Jean Archer

Jean H. Archer, 73, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. There will be a visitation from 5-8 PM on Monday evening at the funeral home.
Jean was born April 28, 1934 in Waucoma, Iowa. She grew up in Des Moines with her parents, 8 sisters and 3 brothers. Jean was married to Donald Archer, Sr. for 49 years and raised their 6 children around the Des Moines area. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Jean is survived by her children; Richard Squires of Des Moines, Don Archer, Jr. of Des Moines, Terry Archer, of Ankeny, Brian Archer of Des Moines, Kelly Mohr (Richard) of Liberty, MO, Pat Archer of Altoona, 4 sisters; Lillian, Delores, Margaret, and Sandra, 2 brothers; Frank and Clifford, and 3 grandsons.
Jean was preceeded in death by her husband; Donald Archer, Sr., her parents, 4 sisters, and 1 brother.
Burial will occur at the Ankeny Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
