Lillian Harban

Lillian Harban 87, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. A memorial reception will immediately follow the service.
Lillian was born September 27, 1920 to William and Mattie Lowe in Des Moines. She was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church. She volunteered at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was part of the Senior Victims Assistance Team. Lillian enjoyed cooking, square dancing, reading and spending time with her family and her dog, Sophie.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Nancy (Bruce) Peters; sons, Joe (Linda) Harban and Bob (Kristine) Harban; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wesley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston or Grandview Park Baptist Church.
