Wilma Hildreth

Wilma Hildreth, 74, of Ankeny died Monday, December 11, 2006 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 15, 2006 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Visitation will be 6:30 pm-8:00 pm on Thursday evening.
Wilma was born December 23, 1931 in Knoxville to Hallie and Ira Woolsey. Wilma worked as an accountant at a marketing firm.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Dennis (Diane) Schlegel of Ione, WA, Doug (Sue) Schlegel of Windsor Heights, Jim (Deedie) Hildreth of Forest Lake, MN, Dale (Mary) Hildreth of Andover, MN; her daughter, Deb Hill of Ankeny; her step-son, John (Janet) Hildreth of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; her long time companion, Vertus Frick of Ankeny; her brothers, Marvin, Mervin, Frank, and Gordon; and her sisters, Peggy, Clara, Caitie, Marilyn and Mildred. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, her parents, her sister Lucy and her brother, Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Hospice in Johnston, where she was cared for by the wonderful staff there.
