Harry Scott

Harry Ellwood Scott, 77, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Harry was born August 18, 1929 in Sewal, Iowa. He was an Army veteran and served in Korea. Harry was a retired construction worker.
Harry is survived by his son, Jearld (Vicki) Scott; step-son, Terry (Cheryl) Yanske; companion, Beryle Overton; brother, Tom Scott; sisters, Phyllis Gill, Bonnie Burress and Rose Hecker; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
