Richard Garland

Richard B. Garland, 86, died Monday, March 31, 2008. A memorial visitation and luncheon will be held 12 PM Saturday, April 5th at Fort Des Moines United Methodist Church.
Richard was born on April 16, 1921 in Tingley, Iowa. He owned and operated Dick Garland’s Antenna Service for 45 years.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Doris of 69 years; his children, Dick, Dwight, Teri; his brother, Dean; his 15 grandchildren; his 16 great grandchildren and his 3 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Truman and Stanley; his sisters, Iola and Bernice and his daughter, Donella.
