I was just back to Iowa for a class reunion and was told of your passing. It made me a little sad as I knew you a long, long time ago. My sympathy to all your family.

Billy John,
I was your second grade teacher at Brooks Elementary. I still remember you very clearly, although I am sure you are far from the tiny little boy with the glasses that I see in my mind. It is hard to believe you are grown with a family. I was so sorry to read about the loss of your father. Your family is one that made a lasting impression on me even after all these years. Please pass along my condolences to your mom.
