P. Katharine Patterson

Pricilla Katharine Patterson, 97, died, Friday, March 28, 2008 at Parkridge Nursing and Rehab in Pleasant Hill. Katharine was born on August 12, 1910 in Richmond, Kansas to William and Jennie Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters, Ethel M. Olds; Maxine (Larry) Powell and Leona “Lee” Mascaro; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross Patterson; her son, Gene Raydean Patterson; one sister and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will visit with friends for one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
