Sharon Cockrell

Sharon Cockrell, 59, died at her home Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Sharon was born March 2, 1949 to Walter and Ruthie Lee (Pickens) Cockrell in Des Moines. She attended East High School and worked for Goodwill Industries. Sharon loved to watch Soap Operas.
Sharon is survived by her sisters, Margaret L. Chism, Harriet J. (David) Colton, Ruth H. Cockrell and Louise Cockrell; brothers, Walter, Cockrell, Jr. and William Cockrell; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruthie Lee Cockrell.
