Beverly Mullins

Beverly J. Mullins passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Beverly was born February 4, 1949 to Charles and Darlene Teller in Sioux City, Iowa. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, reading, feeding and watching birds and traveling. Beverly taught at various Des Moines elementary schools, most recently at Adams Elementary. Teaching was Beverly’s calling and she loved every minute of it.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Dallas Mullins; her children, Benjamin Mullins, Abigail Henderson and Charles Lozano; mother, Darlene Teller; brothers, Ronald and Stephen Teller; sister, Dawn Musgrove; aunts, Betty Griep and Carol McCuddin; uncle, Dr. Dean Diment; several cousins; and a host of co-workers, students and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and her beloved grandmother, Iona Diment.
