Bob Close, Jr.

Bob Close, Jr., 55, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. A private funeral was held Monday, March 24, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
Bob was born August 4, 1952. He was the son of Robert and Juniece Close. Bob lived in Des Moines all of his life. He attended Tech High School then worked at AMF for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, skiing, fishing and sitting on the front deck watching people go by. He also had an interest in motorcycles. Bob was a member of Tae kwon do for many years. He really liked to listen to music and loved to talk to anyone.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Close, Sr. He is survived by his two children, Michael and Corissa; his mother, Juniece Close; two sisters, Sandy Close and Sherry Brewer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
