Ruth Schmunk

Ruth Schmunk was born August 5, 1921 in Perrysville, Ashland County, Ohio and died March 21, 2008 in Adel, Iowa. She married Raymond W. Schmunk on February 1, 1942 at the First Lutheran Church in Mansfield, Ohio. They moved to California in 1959. Ruth worked at San Diego City College and retired in 1983. She remained active in the Lutheran and then Methodist Church throughout her life and was a member of several church choirs.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ray and her sister, Doris Mabee. She is survived by her son, Gregory A. Schmunk and his wife, Susan of Des Moines, Iowa; and grandchildren, Christina Anne and Jennefer Michelle both of California.
