James Brown

James M. Brown, 67, died Thursday, March 20, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2101 Evergreen Ave. Family will greet friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
James was born February 24, 1941. He was a volunteer for the Iowa State Fair for over 15 years. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. James was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
James is survived by his wife, Joyce; three children, Kendra of Des Moines, Michael (Barb) of Peru, IA and Maggie of Des Moines; three grandchildren, Angel, Natasha and D.J.; three brothers, Ray, Howard and Bill; and two sisters, Jane and Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister, Gail.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
