Robin Coan was born May 25, 1976 in Des Moines. She passed away November 2, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center at the age of 41. Memorial services will be held at Crossroads Church, 2601 Border St., Norwalk, Iowa 50211 on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at noon.
Robin is survived by her six children; her mother Barbara Edwards; her foster mother and father Carol and Mike Fairman; her fiancé Thomas E. Handeland; her siblings; and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.

This is unbelievable and heartbreaking. Robin was such a great person to work with even when she was in a bad mood she always made me laugh. She always expressed her love for her children. Gone too soon but will never be forgotten. RIP and God bless the family.

I cannot begin to express the devastating grief that we feel in the loss of such a loving and beautiful soul a mother with unconditional love for her children, a daughter, a sister and a friend, she was so much to so many, an Angel now taken away too soon RIP Robin you will always be loved

I met Robin a few years ago and she was such a sweet and friendly person. My heart is breaking for the sudden loss that her family, kids and friends are dealing with. May you fly with the Angels, Robin! Rest In Paradise
