Arthur A. Jamison

Arthur A. Jamison, 75, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends on October 29, 2017. He was born April 17, 1942, in Des Moines, to Alfred and Mary Jamison.

Arthur was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and graduated from North High School. He enjoyed watching football, auto racing, and CNBC. In his younger years, he enjoyed drag racing and had a lifelong love of cars.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 42 years, Connie (Lynch); children, Susan Jamison of Nashville, TN and Aaron J. (Amber) Jamison of Urbandale, IA; as well as his grandchildren, Samantha, Sergio Jr., Aranza, Veronica, Stella, and Louise.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:30 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
