Sean Everett Carnahan, 24, passed away October 29, 2017. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at Union Park Methodist Church, 2305 E. 12th St. in Des Moines, IA. Family will greet friends following the service.
Sean was born September 19, 1993 in Des Moines, IA to Angelica and Scott Carnahan. He attended Saydel and Hoover High School, graduating in 2012. Sean was a talented rap musician creating his own beats and lyrics and was also gifted on piano and guitar. He was popular on Instagram and Snapchat and was being following by a prominent label. Sean was a wild spirit with a caring, supportive and protective heart. He was confident in his choices, and was always quick with a joke and a great smile. Sean was also a prankster and loved to scare people, most recently with his Jose “Jack” Skellington character.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Scott and Angelica Carnahan; his sisters, Pam (Corey) Pinks and Tanya (Ryan Alcox) Carnahan; his brother, Shea Carnahan; grandmother, Virginia Carnahan; uncle, Armando Rincon; niece, Mia Rincon-Pinks; nephews, Tavain and Ezekiel Pinks; his girlfriend, Kylie Knisley; and many other relatives and friends. Sean was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Hugh Carnahan and Jose Rincon; and uncles, Bill Carnahan and Roberto Rincon.
