Susan Kaiser
October 27, 2017
Susan Lynn Kaiser, age 61, passed away on Friday October 27, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 18,1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank and Barbara Kaiser.
Susan had a soul of a gypsy. She was outspoken, witty, passionate, charming, and always loved a good laugh. She had a free spirit that loved to travel and experience life, living in Washington, Montana, Texas, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Colorado to name a few. Susan loved music, antiques, crystals, knick-knacks, scrapbooking and anything the color purple. She was artistic in so many ways and loved to draw, paint, crochet, knit, sew, and craft just about anything. She was a spiritual woman, no matter the circumstances and always instilled this in her kids and grandkids. She loved to read her bible and daily devotions. She loved movie marathons, Netflix binges, popcorn, and curling up with her grown kids and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, especially the youngest one. She truly enjoyed caring for Alivia her first year of life, and developed an unspeakable bond with that little one. All of her grandchildren love and will miss her greatly! Rest in heaven Mema! You’ll always be in our hearts Momma!
She is survived by her daughters, Brooke Mackey, Amber Mackey, and Courtney Moses; son, DiAngelo Ware; siblings, Jeff Kaiser and Frank Kaiser III; and eleven grandchildren. Susan will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Barbara Kaiser.
A celebration of life memorial will take place Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Thoreau Center, 3500 Kingman Blvd., Des Moines, Iowa 50311. (Parking is available in the large lot behind)
