My mother also lived in the Alzheimers Unit at Ramsey, she passed away in November. My mom had been there since 2000. It is a hard unit to visit but for me I made a new friend when Stella came to live there. She was my buddy. When ever I came to visit my mom, Stella would come and give me a hug or a kiss on the cheek or hold my hand and she would sit with us and we would have ice cream or take awalk around the unit. It was my pleasure to have met her and I will never forget her and only wish I had known her before she came to Ramsey. I am very sorry for your loss.
