George McBride

George Lloyd McBride, 87, passed away March 7, 2008 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Memorial services will be held 1pm Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
George was born January 28, 1921 in Armstrong. He married Betty Foutz on December 5, 1941. He served in the US Army during World War II. George had worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company and retired from Armour Meatpacking Company. He enjoyed fishing and walking. He was Santa Claus at Southridge Mall for many years. He loved being with his family.
George is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his son, George (Sharon) McBride; his daughter, Pat McBride; his grandchildren, Carrie Peck, Chad McBride, Tammy Yetter, Travis McBride, Jason McBride, Lisa McDonald, Leslie Lybarger, Justin McBride, Candace Bossard and Carol Frerichs;
16 great grandchildren; his siblings, Lawrence McBride, Betty Gronwaldt, Wayne McBride, Dorothy, Helen Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Luella McBride, his siblings, John, Walter, Lloyd and Alice.
