Robert Heckman

Robert “Bob” Heckman, 57, of West Des Moines, IA passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2008. Bob will be cremated with a memorial service held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines.
Bob was born in Guthrie County on April, 28, 1950 to Lawrence and Lela Heckman. He graduated from the Guthrie Center High School. Bob was an active member of the Southern Hills Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, hockey and anything relating to the outdoors.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of thirty two years, Barbara; daughter, Holly (Justin) Bettazza; son, Kelly Heckman; siblings, Dean (Madaline) Heckman, Loa (Jerry) Stewart, Joan (Ken) Emshoff, Darrell Heckman, Ruth Heckman and Don Heckman; along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
