Dean Kothenbeutel

Dean Kothenbeutel, 88, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. Cremation will occur and graveside inurnment will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Dean was born March 30, 1919 in Hampton, Iowa, the son of August and Edna (Whitehead) Kothenbeutel. He was a carpenter for over 45 years, retiring from Bergstrom in 1981. Dean was a member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, Carpenter’s Local #107, and an Army Veteran of World War II.
Dean is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie; daughters, Judith (Joe) Morgan and Jeri (John) Lee; grandchildren, Kimberly (Ray) Metz, Kevin Morgan, Brandon (Carissa) Lee and Jessica Lee; great-grandson, Nathaniel Metz; sister, Doris (Keith) Craighton of Hampton; brother, Allen (Jane) Kothenbeutel of Largo, Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
