Dale Campbell

Dale Lee Campbell, 52, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017, at his home in Des Moines.

Dale was born September 2, 1965, in Creston, Iowa, to Dale Luther Campbell and Janice Lea (Strable) Campbell. He had a passion for racing and was Stuart International Speedway’s 1990 Track Champion and also raced at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

He is survived by his daughters, Justine and Jaclyn, grandson, Mason, and father, Dale.

Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Janice and daughter, Jessica.

Services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation following.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
