Mark L. Harlow

Mark Harlow, 67, of Des Moines, passed away October 14, 2017, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, his brother Jerry Harlow, and his sister Diane Anderson.

Mark graduated from Dowling in 1968. He served in the Air Force, including Vietnam. Most of his career was spent in the automotive repair business as a service manager. He was known for his dedication to his work and for his sense of humor. Mark enjoyed morel-hunting, fishing, NASCAR, his animals, and visiting with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date in Manilla, IA.
