Mary Jane; Meghan; Elizabeth; Jennifer; Pauline; Michael; David; Steve; Barbara; and extended family members, it is with a heavy heart that I express my most sincere condolences in Bob's passing. Though words alone cannot ease your pain I hope you find comfort in knowing that he was both loved, respected and admired by so many people and that he touched many lives. Though rising tides may wash footprints from the sand, Bob's large footprints will remain in the hearts and minds of the people whose paths intersected with his.
I regret that I didn't get to know him better having only met him once. Yet, during that brief encounter it was apparent that he was a great man, father, and husband. His legacy will live on eternally.

We remember Bob as a gentle man of humor and laughter, love of iced tea and good food, with a committed love of his family. He was a proud and determined father; at his daughter Liz's wedding he had a long walk across the sand to reach the wedding site. He was a genial host, a nice man.

Mary & family...
My deepest sympathies, my heart is so sad for you...
God Saw You Getting Tired...
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped His arms around you,
And whispered, "Come unto me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
And so He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
So when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain.
I could not wish you to come back
to suffer that all again
