Michael R. Byers

Michael R. Byers, 62, passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic accident Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Michael was born November 10, 1954. He was an employee of Pepsi Cola for 20 years and was currently a truck driver for Ruan. Michael loved his Harley, hobby stock car racing and was a crewman for many years. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting, deer hunting, camping and spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Diane; children, Jonas, Malina, Shawna, Shane and Michael; grandchildren, Trinity, Dominic, Chyanne and Chance; great-grandson, Kyler; his parents, Robert and Ramona Byers; sisters, Mary (Steve), and Karen; three brothers, Larry (Caren), Jerry (Penny), and Brian (Melissa); many in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
