Helen Nail

Helen B. (Winders) Nail, 82, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Sunny View Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Helen was born June 6, 1925 to Augustus and Dora Robbins in Des Moines. Until her health would not allow, Helen loved to travel and play golf.
Helen is survived by her three children, Dennis (Donna) Winders of Ankeny, David (Wendy) Winders of Ankeny and Cheryl (Edward) Dykes of Des Moines; her husband, George Nail of Des Moines; three step sons, Greg (Judy) Nail of West Des Moines, Lee Nail of Des Moines and Rick (Shelley) Nail of Ankeny; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Marshall C. Winders; her parents; five brothers and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Iowa.
