Jack Francis Noonan, 18, of Ankeny passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 8, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Lutheran Church of Hope - Ankeny, 520 NW 36th St, Ankeny. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2017 also at the church. Jack will be laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery in Des Moines following the service.
Jack was born in Des Moines on July 17, 1999. He grew up in Ankeny where he attended Ankeny High School. He enjoyed Jazz Band, Show Choir, Color Guard, and Concert Choir. He graduated in 2017 and recently attended Iowa State University.
He was a deep thinker and enjoyed spending time with friends, writing music, playing video games, attending St. Louis Cardinals games, and making people smile.
Jack is survived by his parents, Sean and Shanda Noonan; brother, Connor Noonan of Ankeny; grandparents, Jim & Kris Noonan of Dubuque, Jim & Dixie Tyler of Winterset; aunt, Molly (Billy) Bodish and their children Cody & Hope Krause of Dubuque; aunt, Erin (Russ) Tomkins and their children Ella, Tanner & Aubrey of Dubuque; uncle, Jarame (Brenda) Tyler and their children Nathan, Katie, Jackie & Rebecca of Waterloo; aunt, Heather (Joe) Wilgenbusch and their children, Lucas & Lane of St. Charles; uncle, Jessy (Pam) Shady and their children Ashtyn, Kamryn & Randy of Winterset; many great aunts and uncles; as well as too many friends to name, but he loved you all.

Jack was at the same loving home daycare with my children and also all through elementary school with them, we are so very heartbroken and sorry for this tremendous loss of such a sweet young man. We pray for strength for your family.
