Karen Davey

Karen S. Davey 54, of Des Moines died on February 25, 2008 at Hospice Kavanagh on 56th. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Avon Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Karen was league coordinator at Plaza Lanes and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and following NASCAR. She is survived by her husband Russ, her son Charles S. (Kim) Starmer, her daughter Brandi (Marty) Starmer, her stepson Tommy Davey, her 2 sisters, 2 brothers and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Richey.
