What a shock to hear that Amy had died. I was just getting to know her. She was kind enough to take on the job of being our Italian American Women's group recording secretary. She always seemed so pleasant and kind. It was so sad that she did not get to see her newest grandchild. I was even more shocked to know that her Mom's name was Margaret Scrignoli, a young girl who went to high school with me!! She probably mentioned to our group, but it did not register til I read the obituary. God Bless her heavenly soul and all of her family. I know she will truly be missed.

Dan and all the family...I am so sorry for your loss. Amy was dear to me, and so many others.. she never failed- she was always there for those she loved.. she always managed to have the right thing to say, and it was honest, and usually made you laugh, even at the tough things in life..she just had that way and I admire that so much. She truly lived every day the qualities most of us aspire to- kindness, compassion, a good listener, welcoming, loyalty, strength, love, she didnt judge....she was always herself and real and she was awesome! It was a blessing to have her as a cousin and friend.. she was taken too soon..not having her here is a huge loss and we are all going to miss her more than a condolence note can be written. I know shes in a better place now...watching over everyone she loves..rest in peace Amy, love you.

I don't know that there are enough words to express what an incredible, awesome friend Amy was. She was funny, sassy, loving, honest, encouraging, true to her word, faithful to her friends and family...I am so thankful that God crossed our paths. Her departure has left a huge hole in so many lives including mine. We need to fill that hole with the memories of a good friend, mom, grandma, and wife that we are all blessed to have. Fly High, Amy. We'll see you again one day.

I cannot imagine a world without the love and brashness and laugh and fire of Amy. I worked with her until I retired. When I saw her several months later I felt so welcomed. She loved her family and protected them as best she could. She took great pride in her work. And she just loved life to it's fullest.

I was very blessed to have meet Amy while working for mercy home care. She took me under her wing and we instantly became friends. She was an amazing person who loved her family very much. I am still in shock that she was taken from us all too soon. However heaven gained a beautiful angel and I can only imagine the reunion Amy is having with her mama! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

I have known Amy since grade school, we went to St. Anthony's together. Although in high school and adulthood we may have grown apart and only stayed in touch through Facebook, she was an exceptional woman and a great friend. Amy will be truly missed by so many people. My heart aches for her family. My thoughts and prayers are with them in this time of healing. Heaven had gained a beautiful Angel!!!
