Jack Hall

Jack Hall, Sr., 82, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Mill-Pond Health Center in Ankeny. Jack was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Hall on October 1, 1925 in Alleman, Iowa.
Jack was a farmer for 60 years until he resided at Mill-Pond in 2003. He also worked at Crown Redi-Mix for 30 years and was a member of Teamsters Local 90, Iowa Farm Bureau Member, and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, Iowa.
He is survived by his daughter, Sue (Larry) Hall; sons, Jim Hall, Jerry (Julie) Hall and Jack (Cheryl) Hall Jr.; 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Faye) Hall, Merrill Hall, Beverly Luing, and Marilyn (Denny) Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 49 years, Marilyn Hall; brother, Duane Hall; and sister, Shirley Ostling.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the funeral home.
