John Metten

John Metten, 61, died, Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Taylor House in Des Moines. He was born on August 9, 1946 to Fred and Colleene Metten. He was an electrician for 40 years at Local 347.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; son, Jason (Katherine) Metten; daughter, Mistie Metten; grandson, Parker; granddaughter, Logan; step-mother, Alice Metten; sisters, Linda Jacobs and Peggy Metten; four nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
