Myra Garrett

Myra Beth Garrett, 49 of Somers, IA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Myra was born on July 9, 1958 in Des Moines. She was a former resident and business owner in Rockwell City, IA. Myra was a born again Christian and her life’s passion was to live for and serve the Lord. Myra’s hobby in life was time spent with her husband, John.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, Craig; parents, Earnest and Darlene Smith of Knoxville and Carol Lyons of Mission, TX; brothers, Kevin (Janey) Smith of Carlisle; Dan (Diane) Smith of Boxholm, Eric (Christina) Smith of Urbandale and Scott (Karen) Smith of Des Moines.
The family invites you for a celebration of life from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Viewing will be from 9-10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Stuart, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Myra.
