Rosemary Andreano

Rosemary Andreano, 73, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Madison County Hospital in Winterset. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Per Rosemary’s wishes no visitation will be held.
Rosemary was born November 6, 1934. She was a Des Moines resident all of her life. Rosemary was a graduate of the American Institute of Banking. She was the director of Polk County Senior Centers, South Des Moines & Carpenter. Rosemary was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed crocheting, making blankets for family and friends and dancing.
Rosemary is survived by her brother, Samuel (Sue Lyons) Andreano, sisters, Charlene (Leo) Day and Theresa (Richard Matlock, Sr.) Andreano; 19 nieces & nephews and 40 great-nieces & great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Frances (Fazio) Andreano; step-mother, Theresa Andreano; and her brother, Anthony P. Andreano.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church.
