Service Details
John Charles “Bean” Leedy, 20, of Des Moines died at his home on Sunday, February 10, 2008. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with cremation following the service. The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. John was employed at Holm Graphic Services and enjoyed cars, camping, hunting and the Green Bay Packers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mom Judy Leedy, his brother Matt (Shelly) Williams and their children Zerek, Kaelyn and Quintin, his grandmother Doris Tuttle as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father John Craig Leedy, his grandmother Marge Bateman and his grandfather Charles Tuttle.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. John will be missed dearly. He had a good heart and brought joy to others. He was a person who could bring out the good in others.

John will be missed by many. He was a great friend to my daughter and my nephew. John was always there for them when they needed a TRUE FRIEND. John will be remembered for his trustworhtiness to his friends and family.
