Esther Boylan

Esther Louise Boylan, 76, died Thursday, February 7, 2008. Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Esther was born December 22, 1931 to Henry and Esther Myer in Des Moines. She was a life long Des Moines resident. Along with her husband, William, they owned and operated Boylan Lock and Locksmith. She also worked at Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Broadlawns in the laundry area. She enjoyed playing majong, watching Disney movies, dancing and playing solitaire on the computer. She loved Pepsi and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
Esther is survived by her sons, George Sanders, Jr. and Rick Boylan; daughter, Linda Sanders; step-sons, Steve and Keith Boylan; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William H. Boylan and George Sanders.
