Patricia Brodersen

Patty (Patricia) Ann Timpany Brodersen, 59, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in Des Moines, Iowa from complications of brain tumor surgery.
Patty was an elementary teacher at Jefferson Traditional School and had previously taught at Delaware Elementary and Merrill Middle Schools. She was a graduate of Grandview College and Drake University.
Patty was born on March 21, 1947 in Janesville, Wisconsin. Her parents were Phyllis Baird Timpany and William Timpany.
She is remembered with love by her husband Charles Brodersen; daughter Kristin and fiance Tom; granddaughters Kaitlin, Emmalin and Madilin; son-in-law John; brothers Scott Timpany and Chuck Miller and step-mother Margaret Timpany.
Visitation will be at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines on Thursday evening October 26 from 6 to 8 PM.
Patty's Celebration of Life service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 600 Sixth Avenue in Des Moines on Friday evening at 6:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson Traditional School PTA; Patty Brodersen fund.
