Steven Pinegar

Steven Guy Pinegar was born April 24, 1950, to Joseph and Viola Pinegar in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away at the age of 67.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, September 28, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 29, also at Hamilton’s, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Steven graduated from Southeast Polk High School. He was a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Steven enjoyed cooking. He had a very good sense of humor and was always teasing. He was very social and made friends easily.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Andy) and Kim (Jeff); mother Viola; grandchildren, Chelsea, Luke and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Tristan and Taytum; siblings, Ray (Sharon) and Nancy (Ron); sister-in-law, Vickie; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; brothers, Joe and Tim; and mother of his daughters, Marsha.
