Elizabeth Liike

Elizabeth Jean Liike, 79, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Union Park Health Services in Des Moines.

Elizabeth was born April 9, 1938, in Pontiac, MI, to Robert and Gladys White.

She was a homemaker for most of her life, but also worked as a waitress, and for several nursing homes. Elizabeth loved playing Bingo, working crossword puzzles, and doing word-finds. She had a special place in her heart for dogs.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Becky, Shirley, Marilyn, Marlene, Lee and Amy, many grandchildren, brother, Ron, and many other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan and her parents.

There will be a visitation Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Ridgedale Cemetery in Johnston at 1:30 p.m.
