Steven Stepp

Steven Stepp, 60, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017. He is survived by his longtime partner of 31 years, Myron Ballard; sister, Cindy (Pete) Peters; brother, Jamie (Dawn) Stepp; nephews, Jamie I (Aubrey) Stepp, Noah Stepp and Doug (Missy) Kometscher; nieces, Anne and Danielle Sparks and Mackenzie Stepp; great-nephews, Ayden Stepp and Deklan Kometscher; and his great-niece, Gabby Kometscher. Steve was born March 11, 1957, to his mother, Wilda (Hendricks) Stepp and father, Jamie Stepp, who have since passed. Steve served in the National Guard for 8 years and was a police officer in Nebraska. Steve wanted all to celebrate his life so family will be having a Celebration of Life for Steve. Steve's Memorial will be at the Veterans Reception Center, 910 Main Street in Van Meter, Saturday, October 14 from 2 - 5 p.m. Tell family and friends!!! If people want to, please bring a potluck snack or something ...NOT like a meal thing unless you want to. Thank you all!!
