Cheryl Keeling, age 51, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was born on May 19, 1966 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Cheryl had the most generous loving heart, always putting her loved ones before herself without a moment’s hesitation. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a hard worker and known for her determination. Cheryl was the manager at Valley West Inn Hotel in West Des Moines. She loved frogs and enjoyed collecting them along the years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Bryan Keeling; children, Cody (Breanna) Keeling, Amanda (Josh) Cloud, Kaitlin Keeling and Cory Keeling; grandchildren, Kiera, Trinity, Aliza, Greyson, Khloe & Maddie; mother, Judy Pollock; siblings, Laura (Al) Weisert, Maren Gilbert, Carla Trentz, Connie (James) Adreon, Dan (Mary) Ashley, Nancy (Mike) Gallagher, Judy (Jeff) Keeling and Larry Pollock; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and many special friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Gene Pollock.

Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
