Dear Janice and Wayne,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Aunt Maxine was a great role model from long ago. I'll never forget her hospitality when we visited the farm and enjoyed her delicious treats. She was a gem.
Your cousin, Connie

Maxine and Gilbert were true friends. They were honest, hard-working people and most of all faithful to God Almighty. We shall remember their very special gift of a lovely wedding cake for our wedding reception fifty-two years ago.

I will treasure the memories I have of Maxine at church services, in her farm home cooking meals for church family, sitting with her and Gilbert at the kitchen table watching the birds, getting African Violet starts from her---so many memories.
