James Hoffman, Sr.

James F. Hoffman, Sr., 82, passed away at home in Altoona on September 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on December 15, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio to Charles and Mary Louise (Kelty) Hoffman.
He is survived by his wife, June; June’s children, Laurie Johnston and Shelley (Mike) Eastridge and their son, John Eastridge; children, Jim (Fran) Hoffman, Kimberly (Donald) Goerner, Timothy Baldwin and Ronny Baldwin; grandchildren, Kelly and Zach Hoffman, Bailey, Grayson and Riley Goerner and Tyler and Travis (Jordan) Baldwin; siblings, Chuck (Priscilla) Hoffman, Marynell (Bob) Konderla, Carol (Bob) Palazzo, Susan (Ronnie) Honeycutt; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
James was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sandra J. Hoffman; his parents, and siblings, Margaret Bindel and Ann Konderla.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. Mary the Virgin Catholic Church, 1408 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
Interment will take place in Wister, Oklahoma.
