Skip was a great man who loved his family deeply. He was the one person I could call to help me without question. When Skip's younger brother Mike had his motorcycle accident, Skip was the one who came to the hospital first to help me get everything situated. He was the first to come when Mike was injured on the job in a fire. He LOVED his baby brother and he was always supportive. The timing of Skip's departure could not be more terrible. He finally had everything he ever sought after or wanted in his life. He found his peace through his wife Deb, who loved him, cared for him, laughed with him, and suffered with him until the end. Devoted. Compassionate. Loyal. Courageous. These words only partially describe a man who will be missed more than anyone could ever know. We love you and we miss you Skip. We love you Deb.

Deb,
I'm so sorry for your loss and so grateful that you were by Skip's side day and night from the start of his illness. Thank you for loving him and making sure that his final wishes were followed. He was very lucky to have your love and support.
Knowing that you, Martha, Linda and Dewey, and many others, were taking care of him made it easier for my family to be so far away.
I want you to know that we recognize and appreciate all of the untold sacrifices that you made for him.
We know that he felt your love in the years, months, weeks and days before his death. We are grateful for your love.
